Sawadikap.....being in Bangkok, makes you feel rich in the sense of its culture and of course the currency here is higher than there, the things there are relatively very cheap....PPl there are very polite , sweet and the first thing i did when i got there is to take picture with .....hehehe don't want to mention, later someone jealous.
The accomadation we took are relatively for bag-packers so its quite cheap. About S$80 for our week stay..power rite! It is very near to the shopping center and the best of all near to the LRT. Cause getting ard is best with it , cheap and as for taxi is ok ok price but you never know the taxi driver might bring you round and round b4 reaching your destination. And believe me the jam there are damn unbelievable... see for yourself...
Well Bangkok is a nice place to shop and sight seeing due to its heavy old heritage.... The places we went are Grand Palace, Wat Po , Wat Arun and Reclining Buddha..But be careful cause once we reach Grand Palace, a guy told us to get the ticket quickly cause its closing soon and directed us over to the end and said thats where the entrance are althought there are group of tourist entering this big gate. So we did believe him and he walked faster than us and i smell fishy..suddenly he turn back and said the palace is closing for the day and he could bring us to much exciting temple. And it only took 10 min by TUT TUT and this supported by tut tut driver. They even show us a nice graphic map. Lucky we did our reseach about safety in bangkok. As this people are syndicate where they brought you to a place where you were forced to buy silver. So we are firm of not going and get back where we drop and enter the big gate. To our suprise we did enter the Grand Palace and it is open... and blessing in disguise we enter it for free cause we enter the exit gate.... no one stop us mah! How we know?! But the palace was well maintained and nice... a must place visit!
No... we didn't watch tiger- Show..its not in our itenary list..we felt a bit disgusted to watch old woman doing that you know i know....but we felt its nice place to go when you're single.. cause the girls there are chio...esp thoese ppl from Chiang Mai.. white(fair) and wow..but the amazing thing about Thailand people of their respect toward the King... we were suprised when were in the theater..where they rose up when the national athem is being played. We thought they are leaving...ooooo i wonder what if they implement this thing in Singapore???
Well they said shopping in Chat Chu Cat Market is a must well... i don't think so... but a nice experince cause the place is big and you may got lose... you the clock tower as your guidance. I think the place is well known so they mark up the price... but compare to Singapore bazzar of coz there cheaper... You just have to know how to bargain...
Well the last day... normally everyone are penniless.. spend to our last coins.. lucky had set aside some money fro transport to airport and airport tax...and we took the LRT to Chat Chu Chat market where its the the end of LRT Route and from there we took a cab and the fare are 1/3 of the lumosine taxi we took the first day...but all unforgetable memory ...
Kakukap (Thank YOu)
In loving memory of thailand's cat
