Wah its been long time i had written a blog!...Before i continue my story, i will like to pay tribute to my uncle-in-law(my aunt's husband ) who just past away in a work accident last Sat (3 december2005) . He was a truck driver and is to be said a sobber worker who had just attended a wedding dinner came to work.Due to his carelessness or shall i said his irresponsible- damn him to hell had cause a life. Pity my aunt.... Their wedding day with my family-11 years ago...

Oh yah my dad had a bike accident a week before- may ALLAH protect him.

Alrite let put the sadness behind and life must continue (althought its to swallow the pain may take forever)

Jokjak

Ok where was i ....oh yah the history in jokjak.

Kraton(Palace)
Its an old palace where the king had the ceremony there...It is still use for coronation.

but all i can say this place is suprising nothing just that only...but near to it is called TamanSari or Water palace cause it to be said the king travel for one place to another by a small boat.

let say it's raining or escaping away from enemy ,the king had under tunnel led to another palace.

and the tunnel also led to a underground mosque. This is nice. Cause they had two floors.Upper for mens and lower for ladies or vice versa (can't remeber- heheh never listen to may tour guide properly) and under great influence of ISLAM, they build 5 bridge stairs representing 5 muslim pillar. and below the stairs is the water fountain where they took their abolution.

1) said no god but allah and muhammad is our prohpet
2) pray 5 times a day
3) go haj if afford
4) fast during Ramadhan
5) must donate to the poor of a certain amount(zakat)

This part of the palace -which has been rebuild but where the real brick is still inside was where the King spent with his wives and maiden...It is to be said he had quite a number of woman and the wives were seperated according to his liking... .

This is like a tower where he would pick the woman for the night.
Frame of the bed another room where he practice spritually and spent for few weeks. a messenger will stop in fornt of the thing we standing and sent his message across. where they store their arms....they work nice with angels. and lastly this is the back gate of the palace.

Which lead us to end of the story ...look out for part 2 and three....heheheh

Busy Busy With wat also i donno.....today last day of fasting and tomorrow is HAri Raya....To all my friends... yah i did complete one month of fasting ...yeah!( Hope to lose weight also hehehehe)

Oklah back to my travelling experience.....well this year i think somewhere early this year ... i made another trip to Indonesia again but this time round to yogyakarta or better known as Jok Jak. Its such a historical place.

Hmmm.... Well where shall i start first...let me think back when i reached Jakarta i stayed in a cheap hotel for a night before leaving on my trip to Jok Jak. We took the morning flight but we realised one thing that we couldnt get a hotel! Gawat(means chialat in Bahasa Indonesia)! So before we took our flight the next day we went to Hotel counter in the air port and call all the hotel possible can...But so sad we can't get any. Kanchong.....btw we on budget trip...and even then their five star are almost running out of rooms and left with the suites which is more expensive. This is due to the school holidays there and Indonesian really take a break and off to their holidays. But finally we managed to get a hotel with is quite reasonable. Since its quite cheap we took a suite for all of us to stay and also thought its so run down so we try hard not to expect much. But to our suprise...its not bad..Got swimming pool , free breakfast and bunglow and etc...But abit run down ....but its okleh!...The hotel called Hotel Brongto-near to all historic places somemore and cafe

Ok back with My Bali Story....
Well they don't call beach resort for nothing...well here is the beach where is about to Sunset, isnt it romantic?
Wish could be there all the time.... The look of my resort


so the next day we wnt to their historic worship places. One of them is called Gua Gajah or translate in English "Elephant Cave"
When i asked the guide why is it called Gua Gajah,(thinking there were elephants around) but it is because the streams there are big as elephant.

Next stop is a bit away from Kuta, it is called Kitamani. A beautiful sight where you can over see a inactive volcano and a valley.Breath taking....but sometime the seller there keep pestering you to buy their goods.So can be quite irratating....

Hmmm... the day is too fast to end without shopping. So ever been to a shopping cente in front of a beach? Come to Discovery Mall....

Bali

Wah coming to a month haven't been updating my blog.Well after busy with exam(which all had pass) i went for 9 days trip to Genting then Kuala Lumpur then to Melaka and lastly to Desaru. Never been that long in Malaysia...I even went to Black Eye Peas' Concert before my trip. This all i will tell in the future! For now let's continue the road trip to "The island of Gods"-

Bali

It is a very nice island where you should go. But it had been bomb twice. Really sorry and condolence to the victims of Bali bombing. What does all this terrorist really want? They have killed lifes, injuried and disturbed their source of income. Sigh! Leave that aside but now let's look how beautiful and historic bali is.

Me and my friends supposed to be backpacking to Jokjak by train then to move down to Jakarta. But instead i got a pleasent suprised that they had changed this trip to Bali! hahaha. So we got onto a local plane and head off to Bali. This is the first time i took an air plane where do not served meal but you have to purchase for the meal.The trip was about 1 1/2 hour.

Once we got to our resort(Grand Balinese Resort-Kuta area) they upgraded our rooms to more luxurious rooms - due to no availabilty on the delux room. Very nice and the best resort stay i ever had! The resort is just right in front of the beach!Instead we be staying here, we got this instead!. Feeling hungry we sat off to Jimbaran Beach for dinner cum supper. Selling seafood and dine on the beach!

The next day we went to kuta area for Shopping! Bizzare, cheap and a lot os thing there. Guess what is this> its ashtray with unique features!hehehe. Along the street, you can see how unique is bali.How the crafts and design on every building. As it is a mostly hindu resident, there are a lot of temple around- it is called Candi.

Along the stretch of Kuta street you can see the Monument for the victim of Bali bombing in 2002.

So sad. All this terrorist, bird flu and etc make my plans to visit more places more difficult. Wish can get this tryu their heads...WORLD PEACE! bE BAck with more lovely island of Bali!

Mr LL - our lecturer said it was easy ..yah it is but he neber mention it is tricky ! sigh! eg one number can cost 4 mark...suck a give away and i didnt get it.Just like BNT- question C1 gave me problem (sob sob) and i do study for this exam aw...please let it pay off....Hope that God grant my wish! Wow...its been long time i never open up my travelling experience.Kinda busy with projects and exam is just next week! But here i am again, now i gonna tell you the capital of Indonesia...Jakarta as a whole.Why i say as a whole cause been there for few times already.

Jakarta

8 years ago i went to jakarta with my family. Back then the place was not that developed. But now wah....you can sense that it will be one of the developing in the future - but depend on the government and the ppl there. You can see a lot of cafe, restaurant, shopping centre and a lot more which trying to catch up with mordenisation. The pepole there are friendly, simple and hardworking. Its the first time i seen not in most other country i went which make full use all the resoucers they had. For example, you have lift attendant in every shopping centre, you have non licenced drive tru attendand- which navigate your parking and a lot more. How much do they earn?? I think its only S$100 per month. To them is enough to survive tru out the month. Then you can see theres bunch of youngsters just hang out at cafe and enjoy themselves. This is most likely the well off family. Well nothing much to say about that apart by seeing for yourself. Not many ppl compare to the past are begging down there but at least they did is to please you , eg at the road they will wiped your vehicle, entertain you and sell all kind of things. Just give them 5000 rupiah which equavilant only S$1.

You can have variety range of food...from thousands of local ethnic delicacies to international food
But still they prefer to have instand noodle eg: Bakso Gm, Es teler and a lot more... They selling nice instant noodle and pangsit(wanton) wow it is a must try !traditional Java delicacies...

It got the height to view whole of Jakarta and don't miss out the underground museam. Intresting and great models of its history.

There's a lot of monument ard Jakarta or tru out Indonesia. The purpose to recognize the deeds and to remind the living of how hard ppl is and how much you have to acheive.

Hard to find cheap sovernia but a lot of shopping centre like Sarinah selling sovernia like batik, cravings and etc

Cheap Taxis but heavy traffic... Bus way -express bus ( a lane which only the bus drive tru)and the Sky train will be coming soon in 2007.
